Actress Juliana Olayode of Nollywood has addressed rumors that have been circulating about her in the entertainment world.
The actress reportedly stated in a video posted on her Instagram profile on February 5, 2026, that although she typically overlooks online conversation, she felt compelled to comment after being deeply moved by recent tales.
She questioned why people prefer to spread false information about others and called the rumors damaging.
Juliana, who rose to fame in the television series Jenifa’s Diary as Toyosi, or Toyo Baby, is renowned for candidly discussing her Christian beliefs and how they influence her choices in both her personal and professional life.
She clarified that she has no problem collaborating with anyone in the film industry in response to the rumors.
As long as the script and her role don’t conflict with her personal values, she says she’s open to working with any producer or director.
Additionally, she reiterated her stance on personal sequences, stating that her faith prevents her from kissing in films.
She went on to say that disseminating false information about her is wrong and hurtful, even though others are free to detest her, criticize her performance, or decide not to collaborate with her.
Juliana stated that she has previously declined parts that went against her moral principles, thus her boundaries on screen are nothing new.
She clarified that her convictions still influence the kinds of roles she takes on in her acting career.
“So I want to clear the air,” she remarked. There is not a single director or producer that I can’t collaborate with. Not one. As long as the tale and my role do not conflict with my dedication to God, I am open to working with anyone.
“Yes, I wouldn’t kiss in a movie.”
“If you don’t like me, that’s cool. It’s acceptable if you think I’m not a good actor or if you don’t want to collaborate with me. However, it is extremely wrong and terrible to lie about me.
